Aldo Leone managing the premier Greyhound Racing venue at Hollywood, South Florida
Aldo is one of the longest tenured members of the Mardi Gras Casino team. He developed his passion for racing at a young age when he began working at our Hollywood race track as a 16 years old dog handler back in 1979. From there he steadily progressed from assistant Paddock Judge, which he did for two years to Paddock Judge, which he did for another two. Aldo then spent 4 years as an Assistant Racing Secretary before taking on the responsibility of Racing Secretary.
After five years in that position Aldo became Mardi Gras’ Director of Racing, a position he has held for over 15 years. It is his knowledge and experience that has helped our Hollywood race track to maintain its tradition of being the premier south Florida greyhound racing venue since 1934.
