The 2011 Mardi Gras Comedy Challenge is underway! Hundreds of comics from all across South Florida came to the Hollywood Beach Casino's open auditions held August 12th and 13th at the Dawg House Sports Bar. Last weeks open auditions resulted in 40 outstanding comedians moving on to compete for the Grand Prize. What is the Grand Prize of this hilarious Ft. Lauderdale event, you ask?
