We Salute You! Throughout the entire month of May, Mardi Gras Casino would like to recognize the men and women in the Armed Forces who risk their lives every day to protect our freedom. On May 1st we will begin collecting items needed by our soldiers for care packages. Mardi Gras Casino and the Mardi Gras Krewe participated in the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Dedication Ceremony and Parade on Saturday, July 16th. Our Showgirls and Showboys were on hand dressed in Parade themes: an Angel representing Dreams, a Baseball Player representing Sports, an Artist representing the Arts and a Jester representing Games. The Parade was followed by a Celebration on the grounds of the newly built Joe DiMaggio’s Children’s Hospital.
