The South Florida racetrack may change its name, but Greyhound racing in Hollywood, Florida is once again showing year over year gains. A new spirit of excitement is coming to the historic Hollywood racetrack. The Hollywood Greyhound Track, a.k.a. Mardi Gras Racetrack, has partnered up with Bigjackpotbetting, an internet based marketing and live greyhound presentation web site. If you missed the Finals of the Mardi Gras Florida Casino 2011 Futurity Championship on Saturday night you missed one heck of a race. It wound up being a battle between two dogs but all the entrants battled hard to win. This year the Futurity was the 6th race of the Late Evening Card. J & J Calabro, Black Kennel and Joe Trudden and all had duplicate entries.
