The Ft. Lauderdale stand-up comedy attraction of the summer is off to a sidesplitting start. Round one will be held at Mardi Gras Casino, on August 25 at 8:00pm. One of the country’s top emcees, Marion Grodin, will be headlining the first night of this one of a kind event. As an added bonus, Marion will be performing a set of her own live stand-up comedy. Marion and her trademark edgy style have shared the stage with the likes of Jerry Seinfeld, Dave Chappelle, Roseanne Barr and Robin Williams. Marion has also been seen on NBC's Late Night with Conan O'Brien, and ABC's The View.

Additionally, 5 of the 25 comedians that survived the grueling auditions and were selected in last week’s Showcase round will be performing in an attempt to move on to the Finals on October 6th, and ultimately win the grand prize of $5K and will get to perform a dream come true 30 minutes of Stand Up Comedy opening for Paula Poundstone at our spectacular outdoor Hollywood Racetrack grandstand!
